I am Corinne Geary, Athena's Home Novelties Goddess #944 and Team Leader of Simply Irresistible. I stumbled upon Athena's in August 2005.I was working full time in an office, and hated my job. I always wanted to own my own business, but didn't know exactly what I wanted to do. I came home from work one night, and hopped on the internet. I was thinking about doing "those parties". I had been to one when I was 18, but it wasn't Athena's. Out of all the party plans I found, I liked Athena's marketing, business plan, and focus on educating, empowering and entertaining women. I decided that night Athena's was what I was going to go with. The next morning, I went to work at my dreaded day job.
One of my co-workers said she was going to a toy party. I asked her what company, and as the powers that be may have it, it was an Athena's Home Novelties party. I HAD to go. I joined her for the party, walked up to the Goddess and told her I wanted to do this, and inquired as to how I could get going. I called her the next day (I was persistent, I wanted in), and we set up a time to meet. We met a day or two later and I was in training that very weekend! I didn't know ANYONE in the company when I started. I tapped into all the resources Athena's offered, and began making friends. I was able to quit my full time job 3 months later and become a full time stay at home mom, and a part time Goddess. I was doing about 1-2 parties a week or so. I now shoot for 3-4 parties in a week. I loved being a part of it all. I was making money, meeting amazing people, and always had great stories to share. My confidence grew, as well as my ability to talk to people in a public setting. I feel a radical amount of personal transformation has taken place since I started over in 2005. I look back and can see my personal path of progression, and it feels really good. I am now at a point where I work my Athena's business hard and everywhere I go. Booking parties, sharing the business opportunity, and still meeting new people. I am looking to continue to grow my business and make even more progress in my life and watch as greater personal transformation takes place.
